Janet and I attended one of Kevin’s two end-of-semester concerts last night, “An Evening of Vocal Jazz,” the culmination of the semester’s work by students in the music classes MUS 38 and 538. Luckily for us (since we’re usually in bed by 9 pm), Kevin was in the ensemble that went first (“Jazz@3:00”), so we stayed for their four pieces, and then a solo performance, and then left early, so we didn’t see the rest of the concert and I have only the four pieces performed by Jazz@3 to share with y’all here.
